I'm still going through my Barda mood and I got this from Chad a couple years ago. (Amended on 1-25-10) I wanted to say to Mike (don't know if you'll read this but I want to say it) many, many thanks for your nice words and comments. I like to thank people for comments and I didn't know how to do it other than here. If you come back to see this piece, huge thanks for coming in the first place and writing an eloquent comment.

Great body contour. Beautiful face; esp. lips & eyes. Good overall detail. Barda looks strong yet still feminine. This is a really nice piece of comic art. Also, she looks very attractive without being over-the-top sexed-up like a lot of artists either choose to do females ( I like those types as well). I understand the temptation to maybe over accentuate the sexy body parts of a womans body and for some it's the only way they can make a woman look feminine and/or attractive. This artist DOES NOT have that problem. In this rendering of Barda she is quite pretty and sexy. The artist has done this despite rendering her in and understated pose and without hinting at or using exposed flesh to get the viewer attention. I like this piece.

Chad Spilker's work is excellent. He is quite adept at the female pin -up. And a very approachable nice guy too at the cons I've been at.

I'm guessing by your gallery and the artists that have contributed to it that you've been to Fallcon or Springcon in Minnesota. I've been there once and it's great isn't it!? I've met Chad there and he's a great guy and definitely a master pin-up artist. Thanks for sharing!
