Beautiful Dreamer, by Dan DeCarlo

I thought a Beautiful Dreamer drawing by Dan DeCarlo would turn out, well, beautifully. Fortunately, Dick Ayers introduced me to Dan at a Big Apple show back in 2000, and I was able to ask him. Even though Dan had no idea who the character was, he agreed to give it a shot. I gave him a Kirby issue of Forever People for reference, and he sketched out this lovely drawing. This is definitely one of the highlights of my Beautiful Dreamer sketchbook. It always brings a smile to my face.
