Description
This is the first page of a four-page story done on twice up art board by Katy Keene's creator Bill Woggon. It is from Katy Keene #55 circa September 1960. I saw this page at SDCC 2007 and didn't realize that the rest of the story was behind it when I asked for a price. The price was high just for the page but a bargain for all four pages, especially when all four had something to like. I consider the top panel to be a terrific and unique pin up and would have gone some just to get it.

The other three pages are adjacent to this one on this gallery.

Gorgeous art. I also have a complete "Gloria" story from late in the run of the the original Katy series. Wish I had a scanner to post all my art, instead of having to bring it to work in dribs and drabs. Back to Gloria -- is it just me, or are the "bad girls" Katy Keene, Millie the Model, and Patsy & Hedy prettier than the "good girls"? Gloria Grandbilt, Chili Storm, Hedy Wolfe -- the leading ladies would just be bland without them.
