Terry, Hi! I am liquidating my collection, including this piece. I am getting inquiries about this one. If you want it, please make me an offer. Otherwise, I will start negotiating elsewhere. Robert
They are still the two pieces I'd be least likely to give up/
I don't specifically remember seeing that joke, but it's so obvious given the drawing. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw something like it in the uncountable number of cartoons I've seen and it's been lying in my subconscious ever since.

Nice to know people are looking at these old pieces. It's still one of my favorites.
Timm is the master of cartoonish GGA. This is very elaborate for a pin up by him.
I got a lot of my Al Rio stuff from Terry. This particular one was from Ebay.
He never tried to get it. He did ask for permission to use it if an Al Rio book came out, but nothing ever came of it.
I presume with you as Abner. Sounds lovely, not so sure about the handcuffs though.
He sure did, I wish I had a pure Schaffenberger Lana Lang other than the one where she's dressed in medieval garb.
Indeed, shame they used so little of it for the book.
