Baltimore Comic-Con 2005

My favorite artist of all time is the late Mike Wieringo. He'd penciled this piece
at his North Carolina home and brought it to the convention. I was lucky enough to be one of the first in his line and purchased the penciled art from him. Later that evening, I'd run across inker Dexter Vines and not being able to remember whether these two had worked together in the past, I asked him to ink it.

He hadn't and the results were pretty outstanding, in my opinion.

I later showed it to Mike, who was equally impressed with results, so much so that , days later, he posted a scan of this on his website.

If I wasn't before, I was then his biggest fan.
