Wow, cool piece Alex. I can't believe it's taken five and a half years for me to notice this. Just goes to show how easily non-comic illustration can get lost in such a large sea of comic art. At any rate, I'm sure you'll be happy to know that this is the work of Charles Copeland.

Wow! have not seen this one for many years, used to own it but did not know the artist, think I got it from a Weiss auction back when he did a catalog, but not 100%

Got it from an old Illo House auction many eons ago!

That makes sense then, I do think I got it from Weiss, and after some time sold it thru IH, where I also worked for over a decade as curator and show manager.

It's a great pice and well done.
