Description

This is one of several pieces Tom did for DC as part of a pitch for a Swamp Thing series. Unfortunately, the powers that be rejected the proposal. Sutton went on to do a Man-Thing series for Marvel instead.

I've always respected Tom's work, he did a bloody lot of very original and cool art and this page is simply one of his most original and coolest.

I still keep coming back to this image of Swamp Thing by Tom...I'd love to trade something from my collection for it...but it's still great to see just a scan from the original art here in CAF.
