I love Infantino's work. In particular, I appreciate his work on The Flash, The Elongated Man, and Adam Strange.

This piece was purchased on eBay. J. David Spurlock the author along with Carmine of The Amazing World of Carmine Infantino was selling copies of the book with sketches in them. I bought this book thinking that I might cut out the piece and frame it, but I just can't cut the book up. Sigh...

It is a great image and reminds me of Mystery in Space 90 - see Additional Images. Along with The Flash, I associate Carmine most strongly with Adam.

Update 1 - This piece and The Flash piece have been published in a book about Carmine. The book is Carmine Infantino Penciler, Publisher, Provocateur. This one is on page 191. The other on page 190.

Carmine is incredible. He is just amazing. I was lucky enough to get him to do a few pieces for me this year, and they are prized possessions. This one is "special"

Great stuff! Infantino drew so many of my childhood... make that "life-long", faves but his Adam Strange tops the list. I can't believe I've missed this. Big congratulation to you!
