What have we here? One of the best splashes at all! There will be hardly a handful of splashes that can match this gorgeous one. Congratulations!

While I grew up with Frank Miller's Daredevil, I can see why Gene Colan defined the character for a generation of readers. There are precious few pieces of art that can convey the blazing speed at which the heroes and their villains must travel in the heat of battle. Fewer still are full page battle splashes with large lushly drawn depictions of both hero and prey. This is one of them. Congratulations on a truly spectacular acquisition!

I really have fond memories of those early Colan/Giacoia DD issues. Just a great piece of comicbook history !
