Description

I picked this drawing up (and the others in this gallery) at my first Wonder Con in 1997 directly from Steve Purcell. I was surprised to see Steve at the show (probably because I didn�t read the show program) and even more surprised he had art available for purchase! My brother and I loved the LucasArts PC game so much, I had to immediately call him from the show floor (from a pay phone) to tell him Steve was at the show and he had ART! We were both just starting our first jobs out of college and didn�t have much (if any) disposable income, but we decided to buy all the drawings he brought to the show. I recall Steve mentioned Mike Mignola told him he should bring some art to sell...thanks, Mike! After the show, we kept in contact with Steve and picked up a really cool large illustration of Sam and Max that was used for a magazine.
