Description
Truthfully, this is the second attempt at using standard issue art board for this project. The central figures in the original version were slightly larger but the belt was still a little too large, another reason why I gave it another go. However, it wasn't deliberate; a coffee stain and some sort of black smudge found its way on the board, So long story short I went back to the drawing board (literally) and started again. However, I find reducing the size of these two figures works in the sense that it allows the viewer to see more of the background, which as yet to be added. At this point I was considering a warehouse background, which was a little difficult considering I haven't been in many warehouses and the ceiling would be most prominent in view. I rethought it and...well I'll let you wait and see what I came up with. Please remember at this stage I was concerned about composition. In future I'll endeavour to do a rough version on the same size paper so as to avoid proportion discrepancy. Etched on 11 x 17 illustration board with 6H, 4H, and H pencils.
