Description

This is the original art of a 2-page story printed in the benefit comic "Images of Omaha", when Omaha the Cat Dancer artist Reed Waller was battling colon cancer (successfully, it turned out).
The story was drawn by Martin Wagner, and adapts a short sequence from the classic Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers musical Swing Time, with Gunther in Fred's role and Omaha in Ginger's.
Martin based every frame on a freeze-frame from the movie, right down to copying the actors' costumes and dialogue line-for-line. 2 sheets of Bristol.
