Description

Lloyd Jacquet opened his own comic shop after leaving as the editor of New Fun Comics. He tried to peddle a give-away for movie theatres. The first issue (most of which "reappeared" in Marvel Comics 1) published the first appearance of the "Sub-Mariner". Covers were drawn and published for issues 2-4, but no interiors.

Wonderful array of Galleries; one of the best on CAF - and a fascinating (would-be) cover example!

With printed versions of this cover barely existing (http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=821&lotNo=43001) I am really surprised that the original art exists. Interesting.
