TARZAN RESCUES GIRL

This piece was done by Morrow in 1988 featuring Tarzan. While Morrow was drawing Tarzan, this may have been a promotional piece or a commissioned work. Regardless, it captures the classic feel Morrow brought to the Tarzan strip. Here, a beautiful woman dressed in a harem outfit cowers against a wall as Tarzan slugs a knife-wielding thug. Classic poses, a beautiful, fearful maiden, being saved from certain danger! What else can a Tarzan fan ask for? The original is dynamically rendered with pen, brush and ink and has an image area of 8.5 x 14.5" on a larger piece of heavy 13 x 20" 2-ply Crescent Bristol board.
