For this image I didn't want to overhaul as much as the Ernie Chan piece. The image was so sound and solid already, so I just tried to make it my own by putting my zest on her head as well as small tweaks in the form sense and rendering. So...

What can I say, Adam is truly an inspiration for me, he has been for many years now. If you don't know his work, you're really out of the loop. In the past I had spent countless yrs studying his convention drawings for anatomy and exquisite usage of line variation. The chemistry and line trickery he creates is beyond, not to mention his phenomenal rendering and compositions with his amazingly expressive comic characters.
