In the book's first storyline, Tim learned of a "Red Man" at the head of an army overrunning parts of the Gemworld. He later found out that this was his friend Josh who had been thrown out of the White School. In this page, the friends confront each other in the long-lost library of Janosh-El. Tim seemingly makes a mistake by revealing his true name but is later shown to have been not so foolish after all.
