DescriptionThis page is dedicated to the members of Earth Beer-30, those lovable lumps who following in the two finest endevors a man or woman can, drinking beer and reading comics. This is actually a splash page by the recently departed and famed X-Men artists Dave Cockrum, altough it actually has kind of the "photo realistic" 3-D look of Brian Bolland due to the way it is inked. If it were a slash page of the the Phoenix rising from the ocean, it would probably be worth....one....billion...dollars!!!!Social/Sharing |

This is a very striking and disturbing piece. I own a more "conservative" page from that issue (which features Cockrum's only drawing of Doomsday ever !)and I was amazed by how well Norm Breyfogle's inks worked with Dave's pencils.
