Ever seen Simonson at a show?
He puts a number on everyone's thumbs and that's who's getting a sketch. I think he only numbers ten or twelve fans, who are all jockeying for a number, and then it's all good from there.
He's currently working on an original Elric story with Michael Moorcock, one of his favorite writers, and the stuff looks great.
