Great to see an Adams color guide especially from the classic X-men run. It's page 10 btw. This was also printed in the back of the recent X-Men Gallery Edition along with all of the other color guides from #62 courtesy of Jeff Jatras (R.I.P)
It does say 10 right at the bottom of the page. Maybe I need glasses?
I'm not sure of the pedigree but someone was selling all the color guides to this issue a long time ago on eBay. It was advertised as being by Adams. A few years back, I was going to get him to sign it but he said he didn't do these colors. I'm not sure if he misremembered or if these are from some reprint that was recolored. Maybe I need to get the Gallery Edition to see if they match up to mine.
The X-men run was (apparently) coloured by Cory Adams (R.I.P). This tribute piece has a quick Cory highlights list.
