Description

I picked this up today for a song. The guy selling it didn't know where it came from or anything about it really. I liked it, so I bought it. I did some searching around the net and found the cover! It's from a paperback called THE WOMAN IN THE WOODS.

The artist is CHARLES COPELAND. It was originally printed in 1957 with a different cover and then re-issued in 1978 with this new cover. It's pretty cool I think. It's similar to the old pulp men's magazine art from the 50's

Copeland did a ton of Men's Adventure for Matin Goodman (yes the Timely Marvel owner) so the simialrity makes sense- very nice find
