Description

Done in Toronto, August 2004. George Broderick is a comic book fan from my own heart. Being an oldschool Doom Patrol fan himself he didn't need any reference material for this piece. As he drew the piece he told me about creating the updated version of "Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys" for DC a number of years ago in a Dr. Light story, explaining the concept was to show Dr. Light as such a loser that even Little Boy Blue could beat the snot out of him. When I asked him what they thought about what Brad Meltzer did with Dr. Light in "Identity Crisis" this year George and I got into a big debate on the death of Sue Dibney. I love talking comics with a guy who knows his comics.
