This cover was given to me by (the late) Mike Parobeck. Mike was an extememly underappreciated artist. A friend of mine once said "in twenty years people will be looking at Mike's stuff and see it for how masterful it is." He paved the way for the styles of Bruce Timm and Darwyn Cooke. Too bad Mike is no longer with us.
BTW, Rick Burchett is the amazing inker of this piece. Talk about an underappreciated artist!

As someone also said; "To be able to draw a memorable character with a hundred strokes is a rare talent. To be able to draw a memorable character with ten strokes is genius". Mike Parobeck fell into the latter category and is still much missed...
