I'm a child of the seventies and shortly after I got my first commission from Frank Brunner I knew I had to get his take on this meeting. Batman and Doctor Strange! Another awesome cover worthy illustration by Mr Brunner and I'll let him explain the scene "It's a mood piece, With Batman coming in a window while Doc is communing with a sorceress in another dimension (thru the ORB of Agamotto). Bats Has never met Doc and thinks he's up to no good...." This would have lasted two seconds on the old comic spinner rack when I was a kid! Thanks again Frank it is another jewel in my collection!

I remember thinking one of the coolest comics I'd ever read was ALL ACCESS #3, where Batman and Dr. Strange encountered each other as drawn by Butch Guice. And now, you have one of the consummate Dr. Strange artists depicted yet another cool meeting of these two classic characters. Outstanding!

This is just one of those pieces where you're looking at it...and dying to know what would happen in the three panels immediately following it. You're eactly right...it would have lasted two seconds at my local Rexall! :D

Brunner's detail is always amazing and I consider him to be one of the top artists of all time. It would have been great if he had a Batman run but at least we have this beauty. This could make a great story!!
