Legion of Superheroes Homage to Secret Wars Issue 11 ( Infinite Timelines : A Beginning )

It all starts to pull together..In this last page ( Page 22 ) of Action Comics Issue 864, The Time Trapper closes the door on the Action Comics and Countdown storylines and raises the curtain for the appearance of the Legion of Super-Villians in the Legion of 3 Worlds mini-series. Its a great image that I have had in my collection but then it struck me...

An ending of one thing by its very definition marks the beginning of another. So I am asking Chris Ivy with slight modifications to turn this splash page gem into a Re-Legion cover that opens the door to Infinite Timelines : A Beginning.

The Secret Wars Cover was one of many possible choices but I loved the image of Dr Doom with his back to the reader , almost as if we were inconsequential.

He stands on a height looking down at the heroes with the exact mixture of power and arrogance as the Time Trapper views all of space and time..its no artistic coincidence that there are cockroaches scarmbling and scurrying around at the feet of the Trapper...he will step on and crush whoever gets in his way . And that includes multiple incarnations of the Legion of Superheroes.
