Description

This is a preliminary layout design for an aborted commission piece that Eric and I had toyed with for awhile. We both contend that Ollie and Matt have very similar personalities, passionate to a fault and, at times, amorous to their undoing. The rapid fire effect that Eric conveys with Oliver's bow/bowstring is awesome! If the visually-intriguing inverted position of DD in mid aerial somersault looks somewhat familiar, it's due to the fact that it was later scavenged for the DD/Punisher piece that I posted yesterday on CAF. Despite the fact that we opted to go in a different direction, this mock-up is, in my opinion, a stellar piece of art in its own right. I'm amazed at the level of detail Eric puts int his prelims. This would of been a cool team up.
