Description

This double page spread features four P47s of the 405th Fighter Squadron on a mission to re-supply the "Lost Battalion." Led by Johnny Cloud, the real 8 pilots on this mission volunteered for this most dangerous assignment and were the only Allied pilots flying on this day (October 27th, 1944) as the entire Air Command was grounded by terrible weather. Brian Miller will color in the very dense fog and rain.

The spectacular detail on the Jugs is a sight to behold. They just as beautiful in pencil sketch as they are on the comic's colored pages.
