DescriptionThis painting was submitted to Lucasfilm in 1993 for the Star Wars Galaxy 2 trading card series and was subsequently rejected since Lucas did not want the Tusken Raider to be unmasked. So, Bradstreet added tribal tattoos on Tusken Raider's face and small details to the clothes. Also the slung Gaffi Stick was replaced with a rifle. With these changes, the unmasked Tusken Raider became the deadly bounty hunter Taggor Bren and Lucasfilm approved it for the trading card series. This character reappeared as one of the bounty hunters in a line-up with Boba Fett on the cover of Boba Fett Wizard Special Edition #1/2 Comic Book (See it HERE ). I'm not 100% sure how the details were added, but I believe a clear acetate overlay was used.Update: Bradstreet painted an entirely revised artwork which was approved by Lucasfilm and it became part of the Star Wars Galaxy 2 trading card set (See it HERE ).
