I'm posting this in tribute to Bruce Lowry on the day of the 10th anniversary of his passing away.

I had been in touch with him for a while when he was putting together an Italian vacation with his wife and he asked me for some advice and pointers. I offered to go and pick'em up at the airport to avoid'em the unpleasant experience of Italian's fake cabbies, so when we got to the hotel Bruce handed me a large envelope and wrapped it in a "Thank you for your help".

I opened it and -behold!- the page you see here and that he told me was spoken for just a couple weeks earlier. He cancelled the deal with the other collector just because I was so enthusiastic about it and he wanted to thank me for the help I gave him for their trip with something he knew I'd like and appreciate. Boy, was he ever right!!!
