DescriptionOne of my favorite aspects of editing comics was working with young, new talent. Among the artists whose careers I helped launch was Damion Scott, a gifted artist and storyteller. His first comics work was for BATMAN CHRONICLES, but he quickly became part of the Bat stable and did some phenomenal work on NO MAN'S LAND. From there he became the regular penciller on BATGIRL when the new series was launched on the heels of NML. When I left DC Comics in 1999 Damion gave me the cover to DETECTIVE COMICS #734 as a gift. This beauty was inked by one of my favorite inkers I ever worked with, Robert Campanella and features the "new" Batgirl. Spectacular!Social/Sharing |
