One of the highlights of my career was getting a chance to write a Superman Elseworlds story for editor Mike Carlin. And as if life couldn't get any better, Carlin hired Mike Mignola to do the covers for all the Superman Annuals that year. Wait, it gets better! My buddy Mark Chiarello not only colored the final cover, but he convinced his friend Mignola to sell me the original art! Yes, I will die a happy man. This cover remains one of my most prized possessions. Kudos to interior artist Frank Fosco for designing the look of K'l'l of the Wolves.
