Rick Magyar: Jennifer Mays 1999

      Rick was the inker on the Adam Hughes and Robb Phipps Maze Agency issues. In the Maze Agency Special #1, he drew the second story Afternoon: "Murder by a Hair." Rick also drew a full-page Maze Agency illustration to accompany a Mike W. Barr prose story in Noir - The Illustrated Crime Fiction Quarterly in 1994. A friend from comicart-l arranged this sketch for me in 1999.

      In 2008, the library's Summer reading game featured mysteries and this piece was on display at the Fremont Main Library in California. Some of the other pieces included a Steve Lieber US Marshal Carrie Stetko and a Bruce Timm Batcave scene where Bruce was in the lab testing clues.
