Description

As a Canadian, I love Alpha Flight! However, I didn't really start reading the book until issue 50, when the new team came around. Most people like Byrne's original team, but I grew up reading this newer team:

Vindicator, Box, Sasquatch, Purple Girl & Manikin.

These issues had pencils by a then newcomer Jim Lee.

I didn't even know that the new direction was promoted with an ad piece by Todd McFarlane! If anyone knows where this was published, please let me know!

The content of this image is what happened in Alpha Flight issue 51. I wonder if this was an unused or rejected cover.

I'm so lucky there are few fans of this incarnation of Alpha Flight, otherwise I'd have more competition to get this page!
