Superman by Cully Hamner

Superman is a character I would likely never make the subject of a commission or ask an artist to sketch for me.But this commission by Cully was too awesome to pass up.I think Cully did a splendid job of capturing his essence.His face reflects his nobility and the don't-mess-up-with-me attitude of a powerfull character.And the in your face flight pose is also quite original.Done in markers and ink with great execution.Oh, and be sure to check his recently concluded Black Lightning miniseries if you want to read a good story with top notch storytelling ;)
