Dan was on my short list of creators that I HAD to get a sketch from on the one day I was going to be at ECCC. Since I was only going to be there on Saturday, Dan said he would make sure that the piece got done that day. I didn't go with my standard Nightwing or Spider-Man piece since Dan designed one of the coolest looking Robin variants in his collaboration with Howard Chaykin in Thrillkiller. Can you believe it's already been 15 years since that came out?

Dan and his lovely wife stayed a bit after the doors closed on Saturday to finish up the piece and it was definitely worth the wait. Grayson entering the circus tent ready for action is a welcome addition to my sketchbook, and one of my faves.
