Superman #33, pg. 12 - The Cleric & Jonathan Kent

Luckily enough for us, when Byrne jumped ship back to Marvel, Superman made it into the exceptional hands of Roger Stern & Kerry Gammill, and they were killin’ it too. I mean, in the story “Two Destinies!” they give us the Cleric missionary to Krypton and his modified Eradicator artifact, Mongul’s gladiatorial games recap, the Cellkeeper of the Pariah Penitentiary, the Kryptonian Death-Chant aboard the Cleric’s Ark, Jonathan Kent as a young man at war, Clark’s Psychic Vortex with General Zod, Quex-Ul & Zaora, Matrix as Clark Kent at the Daily Planet, with mentions of the Time Trapper and a representation of the Pocket Universe, and lastly Superman in exile.
Pretty good for one issue!
