Neal Adams: This IS Tarzan!

I have drooled over the pencil sketch this is based on since I first saw it in the first Art of Neal Adams book around 1978. That printing was frustratingly light and most of the detail was missing but the drawing really grabbed me. To me: This IS Tarzan. Fast forward to ComiCon 2007. I walk in on Preview Night and there is the original pencil in a dealer's booth right in front of me! Mine at last? Alas, a lady had just purchased it minutes before. DENIED! I was bumming BIG TIME. But about six months later this fully rendered ink re-creation shows up on NealAdams.com. It was there for about .7 seconds. Mine at a last! 11x14 (scan is slightly cropped)
