Not only is this a great cover but I know the joy you have on getting it back. I've been on the lookout for 14 years for a piece I had to sell at that time. Maybe, just maybe one day I'll have the joy you have now to once again add it to my collection. What a great addition to your already wonderful collection. Congrats.

Congrats Tom, I know how much this means to you and how you regretted letting it go. Now that you have it back don't ever let it out of your sight. It's a keeper to the Nth degree. However, if the madness ever overtakes you again you know where to find me. ;-)

You have to be kidding! Probably the single greatest Bolland image ever! Congrats on getting it (TWICE?!?), truly stunning piece! One of my favorite Bolland stories, made a tremendous impression on me in my younger days. I'd let you buy it back if you ever wanted to acquire it a third time...

Totally iconic, and from my first exposure to Brian's art. You have my jealousy, but it's great that there are people in this hobby willing to let other collectors rectify their collecting mistakes....nice one Brian P

I can easily understand that letting such a cover must have been a torture! Incredible art it is, I'm glad for you and tx for sharing this is a beauty!

Whoa! How have I not commented on this amazing Brian Bolland masterpiece? What a creepy 2000 AD cover with Judge Death and the Dark Judges? I've always secretly admired the design of Judge Death with his spooky uniform and his visored helmet. Love the belt with its death head buckle, and his sharp taloned hands. Brilliantly drawn and superbly inked by Bolland, he is really the star of this cover. Great pick-up! I'm jealous.
