Lovely piece showcasing Gil's finest work. To be honest, I prefer the b&w over the color one. The color one makes the art looks cartoony and also the details don't stand out as much. I have a very simillar piece as this but with different poses.

Nice! I have the OA for this, although I don't know where it's from either. I agree with Leo about the colors. Not the cartoony part, but maybe just on color choices. I think a darker palette would have been more compatible with the subject matter. Still a nice color job though.

The pencils to start with are out of this world. But the colors give it life. Smith did such beautiful work figure by figure. The ship and sails are nicely done. The sea and beach are great as well. Congrats!
