Description
This is the famous Batman and Robin split up issue from 1969. Always looking for 1960's Batman art. Especially if it's inked by Joe Giella.

Incredible cover, Frank! Novick was one of the best to draw the bat!

Not the prettiest cover, but this cover and story, and along with the Batman #217 cover and story, are significant in Batman lore. These events helped create the atmosphere for a flood of creativity that followed for many, many years. The O'Neal-Adams tales (Man-Bat, Ra's Al Ghul, to name a few). The famous Detective #457 cover and story. The Toth issue. The Englehart-Rogers collabrations. Drak Knight, and on and on. A vastly un-appreciated and underated cover and event in Batmans history. Congrats !
