Description

The Tzimisce were a vampire clan that held vast domains in Eastern Europe and counts Vlad Tepes among their members. The clan uses mortal subjects from chosen families to wield political power. Some Tzimisce lords chose to act more directly, fleshcrafting themselves to resemble the local lord or altering the mortal to resemble the vampire. This illustration, labelled "The Twins" on the back by the artist, refers to that practice. (Bought from Michael Gaydos, 2009/05)
