Description

The hero of "American Virgin" was Adam Chamberlain, a young evangelist whose faith in God was unshakeable, until he learns that his girlfriend, Cassie, had been killed while doing Peace Corps work in Africa . His quest to avenge her eventually brings him to Australia . As he is being led by her killer down to an S&M dungeon, he begins to see Cassie again and again among the bodies in the darkened room. Even for Vertigo, this was very racy stuff and nothing in the rest of the run quite equaled it. I'm very glad to own this and 2 other pages from this issue! (Bought from Ryan Kelly, 2009/06)
