WOW! Absolutely stunning painting of Sandman and Death by the incredible Joe Phillips! IMHO, Joe really captures the look of both characters here. I love the color palette, the strong blue and red of the background really pushes the characters forward. There's an interesting psychic something coming from the Death figure, represented by golden arrows traveling from Death to Sandman and causing some kind of symbolic thing happening from Sandman's head. Also, there's some connection between the red background and red marks on both Sandman and Death. I don't really understand it all, but it's mysterious and cool. It's a fabulous painting, congrats!
