Katara - Chifuyu Sasaki (Gurihiru)

Gurihiru is the name of a Japanese penciller/colorist team. They'd done an unpublished Avatar: The Last Airbender comic for the now-defunct Nickelodeon Magazine. I met them at the Marvel booth at the very tail end of SDCC. They got very excited when I pulled out the reference sheet and asked for Katara. As Sasaki drew the sketch, Kawano (the colorist) showed me a binder with the color proofs for the Avatar comic and said it was being published in Europe. Hopefully it'll get published in the US at some point.
