I came back to take another look at this beauty... yep, it's still a killer piece!
Great piece and all but I'm impressed by the Galactus figures.
Bill I am not stalking this piece I promise ; ) It been a few since I posted how cool this is man o man it's a world beater or in Galactus' case a world eater ; )

Whoaaaa! Absolutely stunning Galactus commission from John Byrne. IMHO, John Byrne is one of the very best comic artists ever and this commission is a sublime example why. John understands that Galactus needs to be more than frightening, he needs to be majestic. Galactus is not your run-of-the-mill self-serving villain who wants to conquer the world and rule it. Galactis is beyond mere human emotions like greed and yearning for power. Galactus simply...is. I love this commission because it puts Galactus in the middle of a city with people are freaking out at the sight of him, but Galactus doesn't care. He is beyond us. John Byrne gives us all that in one jaw dropping image. I love John Byrne.
