Description
UXM 251 is my favorite cover from the entire Silvetri run. Since Billy Tan is one of the best students of SIlvestri and has provided pencil duty to UXM, I thouhgt he'd make the best candidate to do this cover reinterpretation. I asked Billy to draw with his own imagination. The result came out as the moment captured after Wolverine's ressurection, with his claws and hulcination of Nick Fury and Carol Danvers. As all the other X fans might know, this was the start of Wolverine's long jorney to rebuilt the X-men. He befriends with Jubilee, saves Psylocke from the Hand, meets a new mutant called Gambit, and finally unites with Professor X. This piece reminds me all the great tales of late 80s X-men. Thank you Billy and Bob!

A truly special piece, Yoshi. I remember this cover well - one of the most memorable from the Silvestri run. Tan did an outstanding job!

You chose your cover and your artist well. While not a big X-Men fan during this era, I remember this cover very well because it appeared to be an homage to Boris' Savage Sword of Conan #5 cover, one of the favorite covers from my youth.
