From the Shadows

I met Michael at WizardWorld Tx '07.




After standing in line for what seemed like hours, Michael had to leave. I quickly explained the concept of the tribute book and Mike said “come find me in artist alley and I’ll take of you”.




In artist alley, Mike was talking to another artist and said “this is the guy I was telling you about”, then looked at me and said “I don’t want to do this half assed, come see me back at the Top Cow booth around 5:00”.




Mike stayed late just to honor us with this amazing piece.
