DescriptionOk. I know there are a LOT of EVS Batman commissions and sketches out there but how many are color, mixed media and double page spreads? Not many. In fact, I haven't seen any others. I am a huge fan of Ethan's. His artwork, along with the stellar writing of Geoff Johns of course, helped to reinstate Green Lantern in his rightful place amongst the A-listers in DC's hierarchy of heroes. I think Ethan really pulled out all the stops on this Batman piece which, with the combination of the various media, really captures the essence of the tortured Dark Knight. Now if only DC would get EVS as the ongoing artist for the monthly Batman title (after the return of the real Caped Crusader, of course).Social/Sharing |

Very nice work, I love Ethan's wok and this is a nice example.
