Description

This is the 11 x 17 piece of art that landed Mike the Tarzan syndicated strip. When I presented Mike a copy for his archives at SDCC 2008, he told me the story of how, although it was a dream assignment, he had to give it up after a couple of years. He was raking in so much coin from other early 80's projects that it was financial suicide to keep cranking out the Tarzan strip.
