Eric had done a quick sketch of DD awhile back that he'd shown me. I offered to purchase it if he fleshed it out a bit. he fully rendered the figure and added a background too!

Just look at the detail on the radar area...wow...what a cool illustration! Thanks for sharing Craig!

Eric's concept for the alternating light/dark pattern in DD's radar really enhances the overall visual appeal on this one. The combination of DD's body language and his (apparently) waning "perception" as the background details fade outward give the viewer a unique glimpse into Matt's world. Iconic stuff, Craig and Eric!

Boy, that's the sort of thing that could go so very wrong with one wrong flick of a pencil! Beautifully done!
