Rorschach by Tom Scioli

At the 2009 Small Press Expo, one of the first artists I bumped into as I strolled through the room was Tom Scioli, who had done a pretty sweet Kro (from the Eternals) a la Jack Kirby at last year's show. He had just signed up to sit at the Image booth at the Baltimore Comic-Con in another 2 weeks, so we chatted briefly about that, and then I asked if he'd be up for doing something in my Least Expected sketchbook. He said he'd be happy to, but asked that I leave the book with him, as he had to think about what he wanted to do. I left him to walk the rest of the aisle (and got sidetracked buying the 2nd volume of Wizzywig from Ed Piskor and a sketch in my Anything Marvel 2 book from Pat Lewis), which gave him time enough to finish this beautiful Rorschach from Watchmen sketch by the time I'd gone up the other side of the aisle! He does fine work.
